Going on 6 months now as a city driver

My daily goals are to offload all of my deliveries and get all of my pickups definitely with safety in mind but I try to hustle. I try to ask for as much as I can until we are done for the night. My big goal is to make it to the one year mark, but I don't know what to do after that point. I thought I would be getting this job after OTR but I ended up landing it before getting any experience. I like being home every night and having weekends and holidays off as well so I can't complain.

I suppose I’d like to finish my rental property within the next 6 months or so. That’d be nice. Get two derogatory remarks removed from my credit. Get a house seeing as how my wife will be releasing another human onto the Earth in February

If possible be able to buy my dump truck towards the end of next year.

My 2022 goal is to hire competent drivers.

There are so many pussie$ out there it blows me away.

Im the young guy that should be a Millennial not these 50 year olds I’m hiring.

If I lived in your area I’d apply lol. *shrug* competency and common sense aren’t that common as soon as I get out of the truck.

Yesterday, I was almost run over in McDonalds parking lot by someone accelerating with me right in front of them, witnessed a customer need the manager of the store to work the kiosk, then watched another human stand and stare at a malfunctioning kiosk while 3 others were functioning perfectly fine. Again, *shrug*

Perhaps you should try hiring women. I find, generally speaking, women to be more unflappable than men.

Also, I find the apparel one wears to be most telling. I mean, it doesn’t bode well for someone when Norbert (my iguana) dresses better than they do.

It’s funny you said that, my first employee was a 23 year old girl, she’s been with me 2 years now and she is honestly my best one I’ve had yet.

I hired another woman last month and she was a nightmare hahahah. You win some, you lose some.
