Going Over the Road with Knight

He tried to drive for Swift but quit there too. He didn’t like me at all when I was his trainer. After his experience at Swift he called me about it. He said he was sorry for being a douche and realized that he had it good with me. I was hard on him but I didn’t treat him badly. He said his trainer at Swift wouldn’t teach him anything. He was allowed to drive and put miles on the truck but the trainer would do everything else.
He’s back in school working on other things now. He gave up on driving for the time being.

 

My other trainee I had, the good one, has kept in touch with me and he is in my other truck that I bought right now.

 

I was reading some of my old posts in here. I look back on my time with Knight and wonder, how in the world did I live like that? They were alright but I worked way too hard for that money. But, I wouldn’t be doing what I do now without that experience.
