The alarms cleared and I made it to Memphis before it de-rated to 5 MPH. I am here until Monday when the right tech is in to work on it.
The truck is great besides this DEF issue.

I sat Saturday through Tuesday and hitched a ride back to Arkansas for another Volvo. Hopefully better luck this time. They put me on a Walmart surge fleet that pays me a daily rate. A good rate too; regardless of Walmart has me doing. Should make up for the sitting.

This Walmart stuff is pretty good. Go from DC to store then vendor back to the DC. All drop and hook. Their trailers, so far, haven't been air ride and it makes for a rough ride.

If you are in a Volvo, that has something to do with it too. Drove a couple while I was there. Give me a Prostar any day for a comfortable ride.

Knight doesn't have air rides. volvos are not the smoothest as it is. Pro star is more comfortable ride definitely.

I drive reefer and my trailers are air ride. Are these dry trailers you are talking about? I like Volvo. Good truck; it rides good, shifts great, and is good on fuel. I am still averaging 7.5 mpg in this truck.

Well sounds like you got hooked up with a good gig. Is this just seasonal?

Sounds like it. I am about out on my 70 so I will probably be back in springdale soon on regular freight. Walmart doesn't want us on recaps.
