Hey Surfer Joe - how did i make $59890 this year at Knight then? The benefits my wife loves and heck i get home every 3 days for 10-15 hours. I do make .39 -.47 a mile depending on the miles of the trip and i get paid everytime i deliver a load. I average between 3000 - 3800 miles a week and this is constant.

Excluding the window lickers that Knight seems to seek out, the drivers willing to put forth the effort, most of them making that kind of money at Knight are "real truckers" The guys that stay out for two weeks or longer. You're the exception to the rule. That's great and proof it can be done but the majority of Knight drivers aren't exactky raking in the cash.

$53695 was my take plus the other amount was from the bonuses i recieved. I made the .04 bonus for 3 quarters and the last quarter i made the .05 bonus. was a nice year indeed.

My miles aren't consistent but average our to about 2475 per week. After a year my lowest milage rate will be .38 CPM base and higher for shorter hauls. I am on track to get .04 CPM bonus on all miles ran this quarter; about 1000 dollars.
Had my days off and I am back out. Off to a slow start because I had to get the truck serviced and zonar installed. That took a day and a half. I am at the customer on a load from east Texas to north Carolina. I haven't been that way since I was in training.

    Fajo Thanks this.

This trailer I have now is junk. Over 14k hours on the reefer, no door hooks, skirt is held on with wire, it looks like hell, and it was a gallon low on oil.
