    I have my Class A already. Received it through Teamsters in 2009. I'm mandated to take a roadtest durine orientation & this is where I'm using an auto. I must take a second road test after 240 hours of mentoring. During mentoring phase I'll request manual.

    You guys are starting to confuse me. I have no restrictions on my license. I'm just using the auto for the orientation road test. Not an RMV road test & not the "upgrade to solo driver" road test.

    Drivers who went to Swift academy to learn to drive,are not required to take a pre-mentor phase ,road test. I did not go to Swift acadamy.
