The biggest reason for people getting dropped is crimnal history if you lied on your app failed drug test many things you are not safe until the last day of orrentation so just be honest about everything in your past even if it is small do not hid anything! It can come to bit you in the ### later! Welcome to USA Truck! One word of advise is stay out of the drivers lounge do not listen to the neg talk in there! You will be fine! Who was your insuctor at C-1?

You do not have a job with them until you pass your final interview, that is usually on the last day of orientation. I see you are going in as a student. As long as you didn't lie about your background (i.e. tickets, accidents, arrests) you will be fine. Another word of advice, don't volunteer ANY information in the final interview. I know a couple that decided to let it slip that 10 years ago the guy had a heart attack, they fired them on the spot. Oh, and dont buy into the crap that Kimberly Jones tries to sell you about "being the voice of the drivers", she only got that position because she can tear up and fake cry on command. When you get with your trainer, just do what you gotta do to get through it, just keep telling yourself "its only a couple of weeks". Then you are on to "upgrade" you'll get your own truck and be on your way! I have been with this company for over a year now, and for the most part I love it. The miles get short every now and then, but it evens out. You might get stuck with the crappy International 9400i, if so, just grin and bear it till you get a new truck. They usually try to turn in the trucks at or around 500,000 miles. If you can get into one with the APU and the inverters, hang onto it for dear life. Optimized Idle, ICON, suck! Well, good luck. If you see me around, say hi, I'm in truck 2752. Anything i can do to help, I will.

i went to C1 in Ft worth, Tx back in december. And i waited a full 5 weeks at home to get my license in the mail.
But finally I am going to usa orientation in Dayton, OH.
A guy here said they did not have to do a driving course. He said you drive a van, but you don't touch a truck until your trainer picks you up.
maybe OH is different than Vanburren.
And while at C1, people were getting dropped left and right. most were due to lying about something in their app.
But on guy got dropped from USA, but not from C1. And they did not say why. Maybe because he was overweight? But he stayed at C1 and paid in full, and got another job.
I just hope that i did not forget about some speeding ticket i got 5 years ago. Or something stupid like that.
