Probably send him to school in Nashville for cdl school. Transportation to Nashville and lodging provided. Probably take his own car if he prefers.

Old Dominion Freight Line - has 'dock to driver' program. Go right to work as a paid employee while being trained as a cdl driver. This company also hires from approved private cdl schools.

Swift.
I went solo once off the mentors truck and have been solo ever since.

10 years with Swift now, so they can't be all that bad.

Bad reputation from bad drivers, for sure.
But my experience with Swift has been around 93% positive.

Well, since Knight took over I might need to revise that down a bit. Maybe 89-90%.
But the people I work with are still at near 100%, which counts for a great deal.
