Leave around 1000am and run 300 miles off by 1500 or so. Do a 10 hour break and get rolling around 0100am or so.

I got a shock a few minutes ago.

My TM called to tell me my truck is done.
My million mile truck that got crashed a few months ago is all repaired and waiting for me to pick up.

The only bad part is it is in Phoenix, so I have to go out there to get it.
She just took me off GLR and back to OTR so I can get some loads getting me there.

JOHNQPUBLIC, dwells40 and dptrucker Thank this.

I really didn't think I would be seeing it again.

I have been hit twice in that truck, the last one a serious crash.

    dptrucker Thanks this.

I am getting yelled at more and more about my idle time.
Not really sure what to do about it since I am sitting more than driving.

My PTA was 1130 today, Friday.
My next load does not pick up until (anytime) Sunday and delivers at 1400 on Tuesday 600 miles away. Can't deliver early.
That is a lot of time that I will need to idle the truck to stay cool.

When I came back from home time last Tuesday I did not pick up a load until Thursday at 1100. 2 days sitting coming back from home time.
That was all in the truck, because I have to be ready for that next load.

Delivered the load after that on Saturday and my next load didn't pick up until Monday. Another day sitting.

It is my TM talking to me about this, not my DM. She is saying that all of my peers are right on track with the idle time and I am the only one with so much.
If they can do it, why can't you she asks.

    dptrucker Thanks this.

    Neosho, MO at the Love's.

I delivered a few miles from here, my PTA was 1400.
My next load picks up an hour south at 1500 tomorrow.
Another day of sitting. And another day of idling.

    dwells40 Thanks this.
