..well I wish people who say they were unjustly terminated give us the reason why, like what did they put on your DAC janskitty that kept you from getting hired anywhere else?

Some of these websites that list company qualifications that qualify so many nr. of violations over so many years probably won't apply now; there are too many unemployed drivers with clean records looking for work, this makes anyone with marks on their driving record or DAC less likely to get hired..

How does being a lease operator (aka independent contractor) qualify for unemployment benefits?

if your wanting to go fast this might not be a good company for you. you need to understand how to run a business in order to make it at JCT..

72mph = more fuel and at the prices we pay now you will not make any money. if you just want to spend all your money in fuel and have none to send home then 72 might be ok......

the days of "cowboy" trucking are gone, its all about knowing how to run smart now, you can make a lot of money running smart, we run about 3500 miles a week on avg. and doing some planing instead of just running your butt off trying to catch up you will be fine.

my truck act. does 73 by gps, but 62-65 leaves more money in my pocket.

She can't. You have to pay into UPB to get them back. Since she was self employed, it's not possible.

not to beat a dead horse, but, this is another example of how this is a business that you have to run, i feel that a lot of the turn over we see is due to people just wanting to come drive a "fast" truck, with most companies turning trucks down to the low to mid 60's because of fuel costs, we end up with drivers that just have no clue what it takes to be the CEO.

I hope i don't come across as not wanting to see more people here, but I just want everyone to know what there in for.

I truly love it here at JCT, and going back, I would have made the move sooner. but I did have my own company for 3 years and know that some weeks after you pay all the bills there is nothing left for the pocket. and some weeks the pockets were over full.
