so i've gotta ask, when you going to be back??

most everybody i've known to leave, thinking the grass is greener, almost always come back within a year. If you think another company wont 'play games'.....think again. it is an industry standard. If EPES really dont? then you've found a needle in a stack of needles.

I'm not leaving the forums,,lol,,just the Swift BS.,,the Swift's unsafe trucks,,the Swift's unorganized office personnel,, the Swift's untrained mechanics, and the Swift's RIP -OFF techniques!!!!

Has anyone ever noticed how your hub miles (on your qualcomm) are very different than your actual miles on your odometer?,, hmmm,, I wrote down my hub reading, and my odometer at same time,, seems they don't both show the same mileage driven.

Yes those are Household Goods miles. Next week call the number on the back of your Comdata card and expect hundreds of dollars to be loaded up on there from all the little things you never got paid for over your employment at Swift like, unload pay, detention pay, layover pay, short mile pay etc etc. What they do is have the computer go through your entire file and look for items you were never paid for and fund those out fully to close your employment account.

I actually talked to a good friend of mine today about this. He just got hired on by First Fleet after leaving Great Wide after leaving Swift. He told the exact same thing about the green grass. He said it wasn't so green after all and told me to not think about leaving Swift if I am comfortable. I am comfortable and told him that Swift will have to fire me or I'll be there until I retire. He told me he regrets burning the bridge when he left Swift.

that is because they dont pay practical miles. most companies DONT pay actual miles. get use to it. If where you're going does? they are one of about 5 companies who do.

unsafe trucks? how unsafe are they? i'd much rather be in a swift company truck than some schneider POS. I had a drop at a Wal-Mart DC in FL last week, and greatwide had the contract at this DC. MAN...seriously it looked like a junkyard for semi trucks.

I just love the drivrs who leave swift who end up badmouthin' the company and making up stupid reasons JUST to try to give them a blakc eye. When the real story is, that the driver was actually FIRED for doing something dumb.

so what is the real story, Bubba Gump?
