Yes that will impact you negatively as that's a moving violation but it's not the end of the world. You just gotta tighten up.

Yes, it's a moving violation and will stay on your MVR for 7 years, IIRC. I don't remember if moving violations also affect your PSP record. You should probably stay at your current employer for the next 2-3 years unless you like looking for a job in a slow period and having the maximum impact of this ticket on your record. DON'T GET ANY MORE TICKETS OR ACCIDENTS. No excuse will wipe out the damage of having more black marks on your record, even if you think the dispatcher or customer will appreciate it. Your job is to protect your CDL, nobody else has that job.

Fight the ticket. Get a local lawyer.

like my lawyer likes to say “ I’ve got the guilty off before”

Well, it’s a very serious offense like getting a 15mph over. One more ticket like that or a combination of another serious offense in 3 years you’ll be getting a 60 day suspension.

I don’t normally recommend the lawyer route but in your case you need to get one and try keeping it off your record.

Following too close is another of the serious offenses that’ll go against a 60 day vacation.

    Good luck

Through my decades long research, I have discovered one immutable truth. No vehicle, big or small, or being operated by EMS, celebrities, or whosoever, is allowed to operate a motor vehicle that has functioning turn signals. Starting from 3 to 5 million dollar fines. Or, lets not go there, death. DO NOT USE USE YOUR INDICATORS IN THE SOUTHERN UNITED STATES!!!!!

you'll probably get letters from lawyers, pick one from the county the ticket was issued.

I did it for 10 over on Black mtn and got it reduced to "improper equipment".

granted it was 6-7 yrs ago.
