In case you don't know already since you're a new O/O like me...
Don't forget Unified Carrier Registration Enforcement starts April 1, 2019.
You have to file your miles with Kentucky also. If you run into NY you need an account with them to get your HVUT sticker...from what I heard not having one is like a 2k fine. New Mexico is another state you need to file with..
Got a violation today in SC for no 2019 IFTA sticker

Thanks Concorde. I run through KY regularly and definitely file quarterly with them. I don't ever go as far west as NM but that's a good reminder. Same for Oregon, isn't it?
I bought the NY sticker for one trip but don't go there either really.
Pretty sure I just upped my UCR but should check. Is that one calendar year? -

My company is based out of TN and we've had our IFTA's since Dec. Last year was a different story, there was some sort of delay getting them from the state, but they sent out a letter of explanation to show any DOT inspector if we got stopped.
whoopNride and 86scotty Thank this. -
how much was the fine? I just got a new truck and had to order new stickers for it, had to pay $12.00 for another set of decals( this is in pa), I printed out the temporary permit but I'm just waiting to get stopped for not having any ifta decals on the truck. Same with NY HUT got a 30 day temp permit till the stickers come in the mail

I got the printout to show DOT until I get them.
I just have to send proof that I’ve gotten them to SC DOT.whoopNride Thanks this. -
Need the sticker AND the paper in the truck. I got a ticket for not having the paperwork once even though the current stickers were on the truck. I ####ing hate the government. This was while a company driver who wasn’t the one responsible for updating the truck files.
Have to renew your license plates, insurance, IFTA, 2290, UCR (whatever the #### that is), boc-3, drug consortium, and biannual MCS-150. Essentially it’s taxes, insurance, taxes, taxes, taxes, bullsh|t, bullsh|t, and general information. All #### I thought we did away with while declaring independence from tyranny, yet here we are.Beaver9, KB3MMX, whoopNride and 1 other person Thank this.
