Got cdl on 2/19/13.. About to start work in 2 weeks!!

    Hi everyone.. I'm glad I found this informative forum!!! I will be heading to Paschall truck lines in a couple of weeks and I'm kinda nervous. Lol. I hope it all works out for me but I need up to date info on this company. How is the equipment? Gps on trucks? Hometime? Etc. I spoke to a recruiter, but I've been told they LIE! Lol. I just need advice on what it's like for a newbie. Thanks in advance for any info.

    I am fixing to go to school and wondered are they going to test for all the things same as on this website? I have been studying the General Knowledge portion. Can anyone let me know the things I must know? LOL thanks I'm a bit nervous now!

    why are you asking are they going to test on all drugs?Are you hiding something.You will get tested and if you have any type of drugs in your system,I imagine it'll show up.If you're under perscribed drugs,you must let the drs office know as well as the school.That's good you're getting a head start on your permit.Also you need to study airbrks and combination vehicle as well to get your permit.

    OK! Thanks Patty! No I take no drugs for anything! (Well Advil) So I need to study General Knowledge, Airbrakes and and Combination for my CDL and thats all? No hazmat or tank stuff? I'll be starting school Next Monday Im nervous about it for some stupid reason.

    Yes I'm serious!! I have some minor criminal issues and they are willing to give me a shot.. I've read all of those outdated links you have posted.. Lol.. They really sound like a bunch of cry babies like some truckers are.. Lol.. I don't feed into all the negativity and whining.. What happens to 1 doesn't happen to all. Just sayin

    @Rick g.. I have read those outdated post and they seem like a few crybabies.. Lol.. I had a couple of issues with my criminal record and ptl gave me a shot.. What happens to 1 doesn't happen to all
