To protect yourself if you get a hospital bill. Already you lost money, which you should consider that this is the fault of the driver who is the owner lease purchasing the truck. You may not feel this way but if you get the bill, then you need to recoup the losses. And by the way, this isn't about the company, it is about the responsible party being professional and not a steering wheel holder.

You can call a lawyer or wait to see if they pay the bill. I don't know. Personally your there anyway. I would try to get experience out if it. If they don't give you a trainer, it's a different ball game.

Dont need to quit till you get the bill paid. Need to file workers comp claim. They wont pay unless held accountable.

Back in limbo. I am at the hotel for the PA terminal in Bethlehem. Supposedly I’m back on the list for a new trainer. And supposedly Western is taking care of the bill. Guess I won’t know for awhile.

No booze while you're waiting. You know better anyway, but thought I'd throw that in there.

Well, I'll share my own story about the sleeping on the top bunk: I posted a couple years ago about my Co driver crashing the truck while I was asleep. I don't think I ever mentioned that I was asleep on the top bunk (with the safety net up). In my particular case, being on the top was very likely the only reason I survived - I was ejected somehow, likely through the little opening in the red square in the one picture.
