People with cowboy hats get beat the eff up daily, like anyone else. Go park in a parking spot & wear a stetson & ballerina shoes, nobody will care.

If you are going flatbed, you will need a hard hat. Just saying, you could get one of these and kill two birds with one stone. LOL

OK I think they wear clothes but hell ... if you just want to wear a cowboy hat, then go for it, but remember that's all you should wear.
OK here is something that tells me you really need to take critisism seriously. See you don't know crap. You went to school just to get a license, and with this attitude, you will have an accident soon enough.

YOU tell your trainer NOTHING unless he/she asks and then you be clear you don't know much.

We, the people who have been on the road and no longer on the road, seen this attitude many times before and if you don't take it seriously by assuming you know something about doing more than driving between cones, you will just be one of those steering wheel holders.

Listen to the people who will tell you what I said. You need to learn as much as you can, and continue to learn for a few years, not weeks or months but years.

Good luck to you sir! And personally I wouldn't tell my trainer anything that he doesn't ask about. He's like your teacher, you watch, listen and observe with respect. Remember that this person has been living this life and you haven't, this person also holds your future career in their hands! And yes, it's not a job - it's a lifestyle! You'll see. And PLEASE watch out for me out there cause I don't have full coverage insurance anymore. LoL
