Thought the general consensus was that there were tiers to the LTL food chain pyramid.

That's pretty much the way I see it too.
Some might rearrange a couple, but the ones at the bottom are definitely correct.

Fast is relative, but every R and L truck I have seen has been a "fast" truck

Oh tell us more, oh super-extrucker! I seem to remember you didn't make it close to a year at NEMF. I happen to think Con-way was way better in Bay Shore then NEMF ever will be! My 2 cents! Crazey-out!

R&L might be at the bottom of most people's list cause everyone chases Cpm &Hourly rates. Which is how most people rate companies. One thing is they probably have a hard time finding drivers which means job security. This company might forgive you on a mistake where the high pay one will try to get rid of you cause they got others applying. My company has had drivers go into the ditch or accidents which they were at fault and they are still working here, where others will send you packing with a stain on your record. One and done companies would stress me out.

Feel free to rearrange, just trying to put pen to paper.

I think that pay is only a part of the package, work environment & policies effect how much the pay is worth
