    Anybody ever been given a hard time about where you had your GPS Mounted.

    I've heard SOME states are pretty picky about it.
    I've not been bothered by DOT/Cops YET.

    Always had mine in very top left corner (freightliner) and not been bothered yet about it. This also helps as a "visor extension" sometimes

    Balakov100 Thanks this.

    I know wi is picky with it, but I mount my gps and dash cam where the wipers don't touch. Never had a problem.

    I might have to try the Top Left Corner...
    I'm getting a second GPS. So wanted to be careful where I put IT.
    Or just throw the POS CB in the Trash and mount it on dash.

    I heard someplace it has to be within the six inch area around the windshield but no clue to the accuracy of that statement.

    Ya, I put mine in areas I can't use to see the road anyway... So if it's "blocking my view" then ya, so is the hood of my engine as well.

    @STexan
    I like the upper left corner idea.
    I will need to give that a try.
    I have a break in the visor "coverage there too.

    Haven't had an issue, it's off to my right side, not blocking my view of any mirrors. It's the iPad mini 4
