Unfortunately for all of us there is no navigation system that 100% error free.

Garmin or Rand are both very good devices but neither is perfect and both will give strange directions at times.

No GPS is a substitute for looking out the window.

If you are not happy with the Rand you probably won't be satisfied with anything. I used a Rand McNally 720 for 2 weeks and found it had a lot of great trip planning features. I just found it a little too costly for me and returned it and bought a Garmin DEZL 560 for $199 from Best Buy online.

So we are not allowed to ask questions before we check the search tab?

The search does wonders most times, and has a valuable purpose for the forums. It cuts down (or should) on a ton of repetitive questions/topics.
As an example,, recently we had many people posting the same videos, with a new post popping up every couple days.
After about the 7th time, it gets kinda old. If it's a new question, or one not common, all's welcome.

I'm happy with the randmc, but it does have some areas where it is horrible. (NJ near newark) Truth is, they all have dead spots. Rand mc has better trip planning features then most, but garmen may keep you oout fo trouble more. In reality though, you need common sense. If a gps tells you to go down a street with a weight limit sign or a 12 foot bridge, you should no enough to not listen to it.

What happens if I post a question that has been asked several times without using the search feature will I be banned?
