How long have you been solo Rug_Trucker? I've only been solo since June 13 but the miles I produce extrapolated out to a year equal out to platinum status--108,000 miles or more.

Wonder if the Rand McNally would fit on cell phone? lol
Would be nice to have a cell phone GPS for trucks then you wouldnt hafta remember to take it outta the truck.
I have googled somethings for hubby tho an then he matched em to Swifts directions an shippers directions. -
I'm wondering if it's just one fleet perhaps? We've not seen a thing on it. Of course the only thing I actually use the GPS for is milage. I plan my routes out myself and we do a great deal of repeat.
I've asked my DM to find out. -

Smart phones have em for trucks or cars? Mine is for cars.

Mine is google based so I get the image of the place I'm going to instead of going in blind. -
I have over 70K according to the last time I was at a Kiosk (last Thursday.) I sit a lot getting repairs. I was doing 2 weeks at a time. Then 3.
I went solo in Late March or early April. -
Lathrop sent out the ban message also ... I've also had 2 instances where GPS was right and maptuit was wrong.
I get too much other info from GPS to give it up ... Like an accurate speed. Irene actually tops out at 69.5 even though the speedodmeter sez 68. -
Was told in orientation they are installing gps systems in all trucks. A few trucks are testing them now.
