I tallied my miles for last month based on my pay stubs....I came up with about 14000.

Just got off the plane for the Tokyo-Detroit leg of my return trip, and there was a voice mail from dispatch. Had to tell them I would be a few hours late getting to the truck tomorrow. Fortunately I wasn't preplanned, but I'm intending to get back to the truck after I stop by the house to grab my gear and swap luggage. I have a bunch of stuff padlocked on the rig and also I'll need to fire the thing up and give the reefer a quick test run.

Sorry I tried to get his attention to guys but I guess you're still not going to get it how to talk with Mike about even the program for $10 an hour and he said I don't know how we go about doing that

That would be nice.... especially on this #### load I'm on now..... spent 7 hours getting a few pallets put on here at a poultry place(one I hope I never go to again), and now spending already 3 hours just to wait for a dock here in champaign.... never mind my next load picks up this late afternoon going overnight into twin cities area.... to crappy loads in a row. I'm skeptical as to how much chance I have of getting detention. I haven't been paid a dime of it since summer of last year, and a lot of these places don't want to pay any price for holding drivers up. I hate to sound negative but it's already looking like a week where I'll be wishing I stayed on vacation lol.

Looks like I got lucky again with being able to park at the shipper, as in getting the very last spot available...just about every inch of the side of the street in front of the place was taken up but fortunately I got into the cull de sac st the end..... which is good because I ain't going to legally go too far once my 14 kicks out!!

With having such a great interest in GPT and Holland having read both threads, I'm considering switching from dryvan. I was wondering has GPT gotten things worked out for the most part or should one be concerned of their future? I've narrowed it down to these two companies and basically getting my info from these posts in addition to talking to both GPT and Holland drivers in the truck stops,to which it seems one on one 98% of drivers seem to be happy with their company as to when drivers are grouped or on the forums seem to be prone be more negative. I like both for their runs, equipment and smaller size compared to the mega's out there. It seems like I can't decide one way or the other other than the color of truck you prefer (lol) but on a serious note I was thinking based on information I've obtained that GPT still may be on shaky ground,is this true of them? Thanks for any feedback,it's nerve racking anytime your considering a change though I know my abilities as proven with whom I drive for now that I can get the job done and yes it's not as challenging as reefer but I'm up for more of a challenge though I want to know what I'm walking into.
