sweetie pie you can make that anywhere today . Now if the bonuses are easily attainable to get you up to 85k a year then it would be an ok start.

I don't know how they come up with that info but years ago when I started at like 36cpm I made that. These days the average driver job pays 55-65 CPM. Great plains might be a good company treatment wise but the pay is just slightly below average.

I’ve lived in the western third of ND my whole life. I don’t mind the people that come here to work. But for cripes sake, if you can’t drive on ice, go learn somewhere else.

I would wager if you walked into any random truck stop and grabbed 100 carrier drivers and asked for documented proof of w2 earnings in 23 over 80% will be under $60,000...

    JolliRoger Thanks this.

That's a pretty broad brush you are using. A local driver is probably a little less than a regional driver might make. Someone who stays out a few weeks is probably a bit more than the regional guy. And someone in a straight truck is probably less than anyone.

    Your point?

I think it might be a recruiter for GPT. Most the time when a driver is lying they're saying they make a ridiculous amount but I haven't heard anyone claim so little
