I looked into them a little when I lived in New Jersey but their terminal was a little far. Hadn’t heard anything bad about them. You may get stuck camping in people’s parking lots for your 10 hour break more than you like pulling those non-haz tanks (maybe)
dennisroc Thanks this. -

I don't know what Ewell hauls but I talked to LCL Bulk Trans out in PA and they haul a lot of food grade stuff (chocolate, cocoa butter, etc) which I thought was nice compared to gasoline but other than that I wasn't interested. Lots of boondocking in people's parking lots, automatic trucks, cameras facing everywhere. Those pneumatic tank pumps will take your fingers or hands off too if you ain't careful, and try not to slip and fall off the top of the trailer when you have to climb up there to pop the hatch because its a pretty good trip down to the pavement.
Seemed like a lot more hassle and risk for not any better pay than pulling a box or reefer. Now if Ewell is a little better on some of that stuff and does gravity drop out of the tanks it would be okay.dennisroc Thanks this. -
I remember hearing they haul chocolate.
Heard they had a min weekly
Guarantee pay. $1250.?
I haul chemicals so not sure about food grade stuff but I would think that it would be customer unload to make sure the product is not contaminated?
As far as being on top of tankers its no big deal Im up there every single load, if its a cleam empty im up 5here making sure the tank wash did there job and tightening up the wash caps
Money, no comparison to dry van money I do very well for 5 daysLast edited: Jul 13, 2019
