My brother just had a brand new tire, properly inflated, explode and take out his full fender over the drives. I've had tires go from repair defects (bad patches), but never a new tire. It happens.

Always someone with a ####y ### comment. Why is it you have to insinuate that i don't do a proper pretrip?i do a pretrip every day, and check my tire pressures every morning, just like i always have. It was a fairly new tire according to the shop, less than 100k on it when it was put on 8 months back. If you must know my tire pressures as of 8am this morning were from right to left front to back, 99, 98, 100, 101 on the drives, and 105 and 103 on the steers. My company specs their tires at 100 on tbe drives and 105 on the steers. I didnt get an inspection during the blitz however i was concerned so i made sure to keep my tire inspections tight.

I like how confident you are in your statement while at the same time being completely flipping wrong. Anything made by people can and will break for absolutely no reason at all sometimes. Deal with it.

I'm going to disagree with that, there's always a reason for a failure. That doesn't mean that you can personally always prevent the failure, a manufacturing defect might only be visible from inside the tire or not visible even from there without using an xray or something absurd like that to detect it. But there is always a reason.

    Ah I remember my first.

Then it start to happen at least once per month in the summer.

Then I stop pulling containers ^_^

I usually limp it to a ramp. I hate sitting on the shoulder.

Wondered how long it would be before someone jumped on this tired old line.
@Gunner75 I was thinking the same thing as the poster who commented about the nearest off ramp. However, your explanation sort of uh, er, well EXPLAINED why you didn't...:D
