    This was my understanding. I have seen them mostly on bull haulers over the years.

    I see them with cow bells hanging too, I think that is saying they will be back to get them so they better be gathered up!! This is crazy, I think it is rude, Can you see the mother in the Mini Van sitting there minding her own business, and from the Childs seat(required to age 45) a voice comes "Mom, What is that hanging from that truck?" Kind of like Rebas Song XXX on the Wall outside a book store!


    P.S. Why are they called "Bull" Haulers? my limited knowledge of cattle production, The Bulls are kept around and are very "Busy" with their "Bull" Duties! So it would be appropriate to call them heifer or Steer Haulers!

    I remember seeing those on hoods of pickup trucks when I was younger....

    even on the hood of cadillacs
