Hi y'all,
I'm not a driver. I'm 47 and am looking to enter the industry. I have narrowed my searching to 2 companies to go to their schools. One is CFI and the other is Millis Transfer. I live in Central Texas and am aware Millis Transfer has a school just up the road from me. I do really like that CFI has training at Crowder college.
Would appreciate any info y'all could give me. After I get my year in, I think I'd like to pull tankers.
Thanks.
Has anyone here been through CFIs school in Neosho, MO. ?

Good luck to you, I hope you choose CFI and Crowder... I did it 7years ago at the tender age of 55.. don't regret a minute th e other students called me Pop... it was fun, food was decent... If memory serves, the dorm was two per bedroom, three bedrooms in the unit, two bathrooms, and a common living area, campus WiFi laundry next door...Every body except me commuted home on the weekends, so I had the place to myself...

Drive it through the CFI recruiter, he or she will make your reservation in the school and handle all reimbursement stuff... I think when I did it, I paid$1000 for tuition, $500 for room and board, and they paid the balance once I met my commitment. I don't know how it works today...

It's a really good school. Skid pad, narrow roads and lots of hills around to learn on, plus I knew one of the old instructors there, he's a really good guy.

Yes the narrow roads and tight turns we were graduating and horsing around the new incoming class was taking a trip around the Figure 8 course... At all the corners we move the barrels in so it was impossible to make the turn for all the newbies... Simple things amuse my simple mindQuietStorm Thanks this. -
Everything I've found about them is positive. That's saying something because it's dang near impossible to find anything about it. Why so few people talk about it online?
