have any of you checked out USA's website?

I love my 9400, with the custom leaning drivers seat.

It does really run good, probably now outta spite toward me, lol

 

Well I don't really care for my 08 Prostar. I don't like the look of it and I absolutely hate the autoshift. On the other hand, it is roomy and I think somebody must have tinkered with it because it will bobtail at 65 and combination at 64. It's only a 62/63 truck with a heavy load.

 

I assume you are talking about the trucks that USA has... They dont' have autoshifts (3 pedals) they have ultrashifts (2 pedal). I prefer the look of the prostar over the 9400i, but either way they are both thirteen letter $%1# spreaders...

20 more days and my truck will be parked empty with to return date .

well.. the 'to' was supposed to say 'no'... Guess that makes that statement understandable lol.

Parking at Vandalia, having someone pick me up so i can empty/clean my truck out, take my vacation for USA (going to Canada). Close to my return time I'll drive back to Vandalia to turn in my keys, comdata card, and fill out the tractor return paperwork and I'm done. Going to orientation for my new company beginning of the month.

I'm kind of getting a little nervous about this new company (was the same when when I quit and started this new career)... because its a change, Hopefully a change for the better. Its more work, but home more (almost everyday with weekends off), and pay should be better. Not a dream job by far, but a lot better then being on the road so much.

 

26 cents a mile at 50 MPH = $13.00 an hour

26 X 500 a day = $130.00 a day less food etc..... say, how about that job at McDonalds?

I understand the math, what's the point? Both green and myself are well beyond those days (earnings), we searching for greener pasture now, looks like he beat me to it.

 

I knew what you meant, good for you. Change is scary, but so is driving on the 405 at 3pm. It's all good and will be fine. You will come back from vacation, energized and ready to move forward.

Before you go, or just after your gone, you need to give a reflective statement. Respectfully of course, after all, were not animals, lol

 

Will do, I'll probably still be checking on this section of forums after I'm gone. I signed up on this forum quite a while before I started driving, which helped me be informed on what to expect when starting and just the basics of driving.
