In my last post, I may not have been clear in my explanation of my situation and hope one of you super truckers can lend some advice. I have my CDL-A. Since I have experience driving rigs from years ago, I took a 7.5 hour class at a local school called Metropolitan. They are not the best of schools but I passed and that's, that. Now I posses a CDL-A and ready even to test for HAZmat and turn in my TWIC paperwork. I need to get recent experience from what I am reading. What company will hire me on, train me, pay me and so forth? I have a clean MVR, not tix, no arrests, nothing. I spoke to CRST, Wil-Trans and they wanted me to attend a school, not theirs.
Does anyone have any advice? I have been otr before and want/need it now. Any advice is welcome.
