I do not believe that day will ever come. There is no guarantee that the officer pulling you over will always have internet available.

They said we wouldn't have to carry the card - all on file.

They called the mental hospital when I wouldn't stop laughing.

Since I'm an O/O I keep my card right with the truck registration, clipped to the visor.

Well, I guess if other terminals and other places are doing it, then I wont have such a poor attitude about it, but I still dont like it. It's not like my DOT card changes from one day to another.
I guess that is my childish rant.

Happy Thanksgiving. Now is the beginning to Peak Season, best of luck to everyone

Yeah, some of the hub started doing that a few months back. I lost my wallet and had to get a copy faxed to Hartford. Got a new one since. They have the sign up in our linehaul office but they have never asked for it

Now we just have to show our wallet, but if one of the safety people are filling in and getting us the paper work, they just get us our scanners and paper work and tell us to have a good one, and dont even ask for it.
DO they really think we would take a chance, plus it wouldnt be on FedEx, it would be on us and the contractor if we get caught.

On that note, I've ranted enough for being 8 am, I'm headed to the coffee shop,

Worked fedex ground for 7 years. When checking in, in the morning, I'd just have a copy of my medical card in the back of my pouch that I'd use to show the nice ladies. No problems here.

My terminal has a notice posted about showing medical cards before receiving our paperwork but they've never asked for mine, nor has Detroit Ground, Detroit Home Delivery, Ann Arbor Ground, Kalamazoo Ground, Chicago Ground, or Pontiac Ground either.
