    was asked today if hauling a haz-mat load in an enclosed trailer if the driver is required to have in his possession the haz-mat books .... Anyone know the laws cause he's gonna question me in the morning and I'll print the results out and let him decide

    He needs the little orange Emergency Response Guide and the Red Hazardous Materials Compliance Pocketbook. I have been asked for these all three time I have been stopped with HM loads.
    Or better yet load him up and send him to a scale. Let them educate him, and let him pay for the experience.
