Mine came out of Nova Scotia, but your point is valid regardless. Sometimes those pickups don’t happen the same day for that reason.

I’ve had shipments before of class 5.1 with a class 8 subsidiary risk. Typically those have to ride 4’ or more apart.

Glad the only hazmat I carry is a bad stomach after an emergency Taco bell visit

Do you wear an “inhalation hazard” placard on your back after Taco Bell? :biggrin_25523:

I haul hazmat coiled wire on a flatbeds a lot, UN 1401. On my BOL the HM is checked and has the UN listed, but it doesn't need placarded. I asked for placards the first time I hauled it and they insisted I didn't need them. I took the load and was worried the whole time, even though I ran all night and delivered in the morning. The next time I raised hell and they printed me paperwork stating why the load was exempt from placards. After further research I found that if I didn't have that exempt paperwork, I would be in violation. RQ's are very confusing at times

    That is funny!

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

The absolute sheer driving force of our national economy - without truck drivers, our entire national economy would come to an absolute standstill - if not outright be dead.

Over the mountains, through the woods, into the valleys, coast to coast, from sea to shining sea - truck drivers can and do go anywhere and everywhere, every day, all year round.
