Curious what states require us to go into the scales even if we get a bypass in-cab or even sign on side of the road?
If you are placarded, you must go into the scale in Arkansas and Arizona, even if your Prepass or Drivewyze gives you the bypass.
It’s been 10 years, but I recall ‘AAACOW’ Arizona Arkansas Alabama Colorado Ohio West Virginia. Im not sure if that’s 100% correct. If you have a Road Atlas it may be in the front of that, or a call to your compliance department perhaps.
Ohio if you don't have a Hazmat Alliance permit. Prepass has a pamphlet that covers all that and Drivewyze also has that info.
