Head-On Collision, Subsequent Semi T-Bone in Delaware County
The incident shown in this video took place on December 14, 2017 in Delaware County, Ohio, on US-23 between Lazelle Road and SR-750.

As is seen in this video, 55-year-old Robert Fish of Columbus was driving a Toyota Corolla northbound on US-23 when he traveled left of the center line and struck a Ford Fusion head-on. The Fusion was immediately forced into the right lane — directly in the path of an oncoming semi. A fourth vehicle was struck by debris from the initial collision.

The driver of the Fusion was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries and Fish was pronounced at the scene. Fish had been driving with three passengers, all of whom were hospitalized. One of those passengers, Lisa Hiles, 54, from Columbus, succumbed to her injuries at the hospital. The other two passengers sustained serious injuries.

No one in Fish's car was wearing a seatbelt. All others involved were.

So the first whit car is slowing to a stop. The second white car (presumably Mr Fish's) takes evasive action by driving into oncomiming traffic when there was no traffic in the right hand lane. Bad choice of where to go by Mr Fish. If he had gone to the right like the rest of us are trained, the accident woulldnt have happened. Then again he was probably distracted and the surprise of rethinking of driving is the real culprit.

My son was driving our car in TN and was hit by a car in the southbound lane on a 2 lane road. It didn't spin him, but hit the car behind him and she spun. Car behind this car hit him in the ordeal. 76 yr old driving the car and may have had a medical episode, but also no insurance. Our insurance paying the claim, then will go after her. Her car hit the side driver's mirror, it went flying through the front open window and hit daughter inlaw by her eye, she had to have stiches put in. Never know when or where it will happen, and some of the cars do not fair very well in the long run to being damaged. Son was driving a Crown Vic expolice car. She took out the back driver's side tire, broke the trailing arms, and most likely shifted the frame, body not so bad.
