Recruiter told me steps are not making more than flats. That both are averaging about $2.19 a mile. Hard to believe step deck averages aren't higher than flat beds.

 

Mercer is primarily a flatbed carrier with some step loads thrown in.

 

Outfit I'm leased to now thinks that $1.38 is a decent rate and will even give you $50 to tarp it haha.

Currently loading my second load from FL up to WI. Naturally as soon as I backed in they went to lunch...

I hope so! Thermo king is holding everything up right now. I may have to run around WI for a few days then go pick it up.
