Before you buy a van, have you seen your doctor about your back? I had my family doctor look at mine when I had pain. He twisted me all over the place until my back started popping. It's been nearly 3 years pain free.

And a tip .... get used to carrying your wallet in your front pocket. Or taking it out while you drive. Pretty sure that is what caused my issues. Nothing like having one butt cheek propped up with a 1 inch thick wallet to screw up your back.

As for your question, I'd think about a reefer if you want versatility.

    Cricket Man Thanks this.

53' swing door, wood floor, plastic lined walls, high scuff, logistics posts, metal roof, air ride, air slide and put some Phillips overhead LED lighting in. I'd also put a couple reefer style vent doors in , but I do live in FL. That's the trailer I'd buy if I had to get rid of my step. I'd also have a box below for moving pads and straps.

I don't think I'd buy a used plate trailer personally.

I would add paper spec. cross members to 40cals list
Adds a little weight but hell of a lot stronger floor.

what is it about a used plate trailer vs a sheet and post trailer that gives you worry?
