I’d get refused if I pinched off the chute and didn’t unbutton it up front.. the airflow is blocked off

 

That’s the reason I pinch it off in this case. I’m only trying to cool the first twelve feet.
When I have a mixed load. I may not use it depending on how much is fresh and what time of year.

 

We have some routes like your talking about too. They are run by teams. I’m a solo driver that usually runs the pharma that they make from the plasma or plasma from a warehouse where other company’s bring there. We also run a lot of insulin and flu vaccine. We do a lot of airport imports and exports pharma loads too.
I’m deadheading from NC to JFK in NYC right now to pick up an airline load right now.
Definitely more rewarding that hauling French fries.... lol
