Walking among a nest of coils on ice. All of which can and will deliver iron nutrition to you at a thousand cuts.

 

As long as we're telling "I had it tougher than you ever could" stories here...How 'bout a 14 foot high load of lumber? Tarped with the big single lumber tarps. Canvass tarps.
Drive through ice and snow and freezing rain all night and your tarps are frozen shut on the ends. You have to get up on top and scrape the ice and snow off with a grain shovel before you can peel the ends open.
You'll be crawling around on your hands and knees hoping that when you fall off you'll land in a snow bank instead of the icy asphalt.
Loads like that were part of the reason I moved over to tankers.
