I can do you one better.
Walking among a nest of coils on ice. All of which can and will deliver iron nutrition to you at a thousand cuts.
Here's what a moderately bad week looks like...

As long as we're telling "I had it tougher than you ever could" stories here...How 'bout a 14 foot high load of lumber? Tarped with the big single lumber tarps. Canvass tarps.
Drive through ice and snow and freezing rain all night and your tarps are frozen shut on the ends. You have to get up on top and scrape the ice and snow off with a grain shovel before you can peel the ends open.
You'll be crawling around on your hands and knees hoping that when you fall off you'll land in a snow bank instead of the icy asphalt.
Loads like that were part of the reason I moved over to tankers.Farmerbob1 and okiedokie Thank this. -
Ohhh wait I know that caused him to fall. The black dog. He mustve been pushing too hard and the black dog caused him to fall.

I would gladly give you every single multi-drop load if that were an option. I made all my drops on time, this time, but I despise having to worry about an incompetent receiver ruining the rest of my appointments, leading to a cascade of delivery issues and headaches. With a single drop, once I get it there, it's on time and problems can't screw up other drops.Trucker61016 Thanks this.
