Short day today, fine by me.But anyway i'm liking Heyl. They're a very laid back company. So anyone with 6 months otr exp and looking for a good company to drive for,I recommend Heyl. All I did this week was go to Sioux Falls Menards and dh back.Monday im going to Omaha.Im on blue tree elogs and its pretty basic and simple.I had a half hr crash course during orientation on blue tree.I asked xlsdraw a few questions.Glad he works for Heyl, hes been a big help.Ok well i'll report more as my time with Heyl progresses.

Camping at the newish Love's at Sweetwater, Texas. Only 274 miles to go to the Consignee. Will roll on in and stage front row at customer in the morning. 06:00 appt Monday. I am working on my fuel mileage on this load. Running 61-62. Nice and warm in Texas as expected.

Gotta throw a mini - rant. I carry a cooler and drink my sodas over ice in my 64 oz mug. 10 lbs normally goes for 2.49 at Pilots and Js. And 7 lbs goes for 1.99 at Love's. This newish Love's in Sweetwater is charging 2.49 for a 7 lbs bag now. I told their local manager to tell his regional manager that he needs to get the value back comparable to his competition. Sorry but this place was 1.99 like the rest of the country when I came through here 2 weeks ago. I can't stand gouging. Rant over.

One thing I use to do is take my cup in and fill it full of ice at the fountain dispenser...then just shake it at them on the way out. Most places won't charge for just a refill of ice if the driver brings his own mug.xlsdraw Thanks this. -
Stopped at the J and got a meal and more ice. Camped at the Consignee now in position A, 150' from the guard shack. Check in starts at 05:00. If I get the same San Antonio to Central Florida run I have had twice so far, I am going to dub this circuit the 3-2-1 Run. 3100 miles Central Florida to Auburn, Washington. 2226 miles Kennewick, Washington to San Antonio, Texas. 1133 miles San Antonio, Texas to Central Florida.

I did get the 3rd leg of the 3-2-1 Run. Will drop it at the Z-hills yard Tuesday evening. Take my reset at home. And be ready to roll again Thursday morning. Hopefully back to Washington. Camped at a temporary weigh station pull through about 8 miles into Alabama. Dang TA at exit 4 was full already at 20:00. My truck stop book called it a Large but it is not.
