Right. I'll call either today or tomorrow (doing a bunch of stuff today) I do know that fafsa is not an option. Not sure if that applies to other types of school loans though

If you go to a tech school for a cdl program you may be able to get financial aid. Thats what I did in Georgia but that was also 13 years ago so dunno if thats still a thing.

Hot shot trucking you can run it non CDL.

I don't know how heavy of a trailer that you bought, but if you could make it a 26,000 combination you could work like that for a while until you could save the money to get your CDL.

Most manufacturers will derate their trailers so that your combination is 26,000 lb.

That business is very very competitive, and you really need like a mentor or something to make sure that you're making money.

A lot of people go into that business and they buy a truck and trailer and they'll work and work and work Non-Stop and then a year later they realize they've made nothing.

Those are guys that are just working to work. You have to learn how to take loads that you make money on, but it is possible if you hustle.

No trailer yet, that'll happen in about 3 to 4 months at the latest. I want to get a 40 foot flatbed gooseneck with 5 foot mega ramps. Not sure what the weight will be. Where would you recommend i find a mentor at? I do have a guy for making sure finances are in order

I'll look into them, thank you
