What we used in the oil field worked for me... Any laundry detergent, ounce or two of Dawn dishwashing liquid, 1/2 cup of Borax powder and a 12oz can of Coke. Took the invert out, killed the smell and removed the stains. If you have ever messed with invert, nasty stuff, you will know what I was facing in regards to cleaning the clothes.

That Dawn dish soap has so many uses, breaks down petro products well, lubricates for pulling wires, blinding agent, just get some in your eyes, and heck it will even clean the dishes.

I've been doing flatbed for over 10 years. Prior to that I did land surveying. As a land surveyor it was mainly just dirt and not too difficult to keep vests clean. Flatbedding is whole different story though. But I have developed the ultimate method for getting those and my other clothes clean as can be.

I bag them up, toss them in the car and ....
    ....
drop them at my mom's. She's pushing 70 but doesn't mind and is a wiz at getting out stains.

Depends a lot on the customer PPE requirements. I've gotten into wearing these button down collared short-sleeve shirts from Costco lately, "Karbon" brand, super comfortable, no high-vis anything. When I used to work local, I'd only wear orange/yellow high-vis t-shirts, but if it's just a "driving day" I don't want to be the shmuck wearing the orange t-shirt behind the wheel.

    Not nearly as professional looking.

Someone somewhere had suggested that Oxy clean will work on vests and the like. Have yet to try it out.

I usually wait until the morning of my delivery to wear one, then as hot and sweaty(and dirty) as I get breaking down a load, I change into clean dry clothes after I am done with the unload so I don't stink up the seat upholstery. But I agree, I try to stay in normal colored clothes whenever I am not gonna be at a customer.

Try a can of regular coke along with your favorite detergent to remove stains. Ive used it on a Jacket that had alot of stains. Its cheap and worked pretty good.
