So i was charged with a hit and run case last 4th of july but was set for court until now. I aquired my CDL in November last year which was after the hit and run. Today i had court and was found guilty, is this going to affect my CDL?

You will still have your CDL, but your prospects on future employers are now limited.

It will effect your future jobs. It doesn't matter if you had your cdl after the incident, it doesn't just go away it stays with you for a long time.
Are you already employ? You have to tell your company about any tickets you received. And u should stay with them for awhile since it will be hard to find a jobNavigatorWife Thanks this. -
Also be prepared for increased insurance premiums.

If he is his insurance will sky rocket. If he isn't I hear Carolina Cargo is hiring. But first did a court happen to find you guilty or did you actually do it to not have it on your MVR with a CDL.

I believe this hit and run post was done by the guy who first saw the Loch Ness Monster.

To be honest i didnt even hit the car i just got tired of going to court every month for them to offer me the same thing and never send me to trial. I was losing more money having to come back to town on the court dates. Today the DA made me a deal where he was going to give me 9 month probation and pay 250 fine so i took it. But i didnt find out about that it was going to screw me over until i told a friend of mine about the offer i took. So then thats when he brought up about if it was not going to screw me on my CDL. Thats when i decided to ask you guys. Now i wonder if i can reopen the case and take it to trial instead like i had it planned or is it to late since i already signed papers and took the offer. Im 90% sure ill will the case if i go to trial. I think thats why they kept on resetting because they knew they didnt have #### on me.

So you pled guilty on a charge you didn't commit that affects your profession.
If you kne they had nothing on you why plead guilty? I would travel to court a million times with my attorney or without if I knew this.NavigatorWife and tinytim Thank this.
