Out of the Chicago area you are probably looking at 7-10 days out with a 2-3 home. In my 6 years out of High Point I have tried to take a minimum of 104 full days off per year. I don't count partial days where I leave or arrive home.
I figure that is similar to weekends off in a 52 week year and is enough for me to have a life outside the truck. I have always gotten more than that but Holidays and 3 weeks vacation/personal days is figured in as well. -
I typically go out until I'm sick of being in the truck and can't take it anymore. Usually that is around 18-20 days, sometimes more, sometimes less. Then I take 3 or 4 days off. Superior is pretty good about working you how you want to work, within reason of course.

Yall don't like going out long. Lol. I go out 4 weeks or more. Record is 7 weeks. As long as I am running I stay out. Now with this crappy weather last week I think I need to go by house for little bit. I agree with each post. Most go out 7-10 days and ho.e for 2 days. They work with you. I just like being out now I got good truck thats been running good. Glad out of pro star and back in eagle. Y'all be safe out there.
