Happens alot. No big deal. Mine leaked for almost a year. It's more of an annoyance than anything.
The dweeb in our shop actually found something that works really well in this case. It's a swivel fitting for the hot air hose. I think he said it was like $150, but it seems to work really well. If I find a picture or a link, I'll post it

What are you guys hauling to be so nonchalant about a leaking hose? I would think it would be some non-flammable inert gas or something comparable. I know it's not gasoline.

Hot hose in reference to the 3" air line going from the blower to a pneumatic trailer.
Frank Speak and Woodys Thank this. -

So the only real danger is from the dust of the product. Not so bad.
Frank Speak Thanks this. -
There is danger, however. If that hose pops off and you’re close, you could potentially get burned by the hot air, or the hose flying at you from the pressure.
The risk is low compared to something like a tank full of acid or whatever, but you can still sustain an injury. -

I'd be interested too. We run a 45 degree angled fitting on both tractor and trailer side of the air hose. It keeps the strain off of the fitting.
I'd be interested in seeing a swivel though. -
Once I find a link, I will post it. I'm going out this afternoon, I'll snap a pic of what I have on my trailer, and see if I can find where it came from
REO6205 Thanks this.
