May trucks are moving road blocks... I think they are governed at 61 mph... Used to be 55 I believe.
I guess you would rarely have to worry about speeding inadvertently.Savor the Flavor and x1Heavy Thank this. -

Good:
- They’re true long haul. I averaged around 1800 miles per load
- They’ll leave you alone for the most part once you show you can do your job
- They have good training
- Their equipment is well maintained
- The office folk are all pretty easy to deal with
The Bad:
- The trucks are governed at 61 mph
- The breakdown department is staffed by former nazis
- They don’t have direct deposit (pay goes on your fuel card)
- Their yards (and driver facilities) are despicable. I’ve never seen one, but I envisioned a homeless shelter anytime I stepped onto a May yard.
Overall, I got along fine at May. I drove out of the Pensacola terminal.
They have their issues, but there are far worse places to go.Last edited: Jul 17, 2018

Survive a year with no rollover, rear end collision or hot piss test and my company will hire you for 80-104k with a year of clean or semi clean experience. It’s flatbed. You will work hard. But you’ll be paid hard too.
