Well, I bought an used truck and was forced to buy new tires, because the truck didnt have a DOT inspection. The only place around, which had 8 tires in stock was Loves and it was either chinese Aeolus for $300 a piece, or Michelin for double the price. Loves manager said that I will be happy with Aeolus and will get 250k out of them. So I got them, but so far cant review them, cause I put only 7k on them.
I know Double Coin is a very popular Chinese brand and Michelin owns 50% of them or so
how bad are Chinese Virgins

Double Coins were the lopsided out of round ones I wouldn't buy.

I hope I never see the day when I only get 250,000 mi out of a drive tire.

That's IF you are running 80k or under all the time.
ramblingman Thanks this. -
So none one knows about the mileage. Longevity seems lower.
One reason I asked is up here in Jersey I see them advertised 265 installed for 285-75 r22.5.
Funny I googled Chinese truck tires and came up with alibaba for a 20 foot container full it id 100 to 140 dollars a tire. How many tires is that? Too many lmao. -
I ran a set of Double Coin 400's as drives -- got them CHEAP off truck left at the mechanic. Lost right at 3/4 of a mpg. The only bad thing is that they wouldn't wear out. Cost a lot of $$ to wear those #### things out. Rolling resistance is 167!!!!!!!
