Why don't you do some research and talk to current working drivers at a company before you become an employee and then quit 30days later. Do you think nobody has had a dirty/smelly truck before and that's why drivers stay at the company? You are allowed to clean a truck yourself if it's not clean enough for you. Despite what adults may have told you as a child you are not helpless and you can actually fix problems yourself instead of waiting for some other adult to swoop in and protect you from any unpleasantness. Doing so actually teaches YOU valuable habits and coping skills that allow you to keep making your career better and better and avoid the job hopper slippery slope to worse and worse jobs.
You can work for a driver leasing company where you technically have one employer that sends you to work for multiple companies. That at leasts gives you variety and the ability to shop around employers. Once you see a place you really like you can become a direct employee for that better company. Or you can #####, moan, & complain and wait for the world to serve your needs.Numb, Long FLD and TheLoadOut Thank this. -

"Here ya go driver, keys to your brand new truck, we've put silk sheets on the bed, fully stocked the fridge with fruits & veggies, snacks and energy drinks, oh, and we didn't forget the XBox, it's in there as well, along with many streaming channels to choose from on the flat screen, we have you on a dedicated account, all drop & hook, home on the weekends, feel free to stop by the terminal anytime as you pass by for a shower, to use the gym, or to just take a break, and oh, your benefits package starts today, as well as your company matching 401K, do you have any questions?"
"What color is the truck?"
"Your shiny new rig is metallic red"
"METALLIC RED??" no no no, I'm calling my mom, she can come pick me up"
