How bad will daycab prices tank after the october Yellow auction ?

Not a lot of middle ground, either. It's either baling wire beauties or large cars.

 

Seems like the Hutterites are the ones with the fancy Peterbilts.

 

We saw some Holland and Yellow Freight Pete’s come thru for service, mostly warranty stuff. Almost all were tandems with a single drive. Pretty worthless, IMO.

 

If the single axle trucks are going cheap enough a person could always throw a cutoff on the back and make it a twin screw.

Yes, here’s a couple of my cousin’s farm trucks, the red one isn’t theirs he was just showing up to load. They have another flattop that’s kind of a rust color too but I don’t have a pic of it.

I notice the ODFL truck color after 7 years there.

Maybe hauling new tractors piggy back - or like you said - cutoff and twin screw.
