The ID thing might be new. Good point about disputing the charge though. I'm gonna give it a shot if I can find someone selling for less than $500-$1000, thanks!

My Note 3 just started causing problems with my FoxFi app. Updated to 4.4.4 last year some time. Used FoxFi Tuesday night and it worked. Tried it Wednesday, won't bypass the default hotspot check like it usually does...so they (Verizon)did something else to it in my sleep...oh well, back to my rooted S3(and my reading glasses) -
My husband is a commercial driver. I downloaded PDANET+ to his laptop and his AT&T android smartphone. Now he is able to share his data plan with unlimited access (hide tether usage from carrier) to the internet. We are driving right now without interruption in signal.

Does not work on all phones or Carriers (for the WiFi Hotspot) -
Very old thread. But what I use is a straight talk mobile hotspot. About $40 at Walmart. Then buy as much data as you need. $60 for 7gb and 60 days always last for me.

I have Cricket unlimited. Root your Phone and download hotspot app to project wifi... Or just pay 10 bucks.

I also have Verizon and the bill is now at $250 a month for my 50gb plan. Im OTR and I never hook my phone or laptop to open wifi sources. I have found that Pilot/FlyingJ do offer 31 days of really good and fast wifi service for 19.99. I haven't found any other more reliable wifi service besides teathering than the Pilot wifi. The only problem is working around always stopping at a Pilot for my 10 hour when my company uses Loves and TA/Petro as fuel sources. Also maybe twice the Pilot I chose to stop at was behind in tech and didn't even offer wifi. This is my way of getting around the no wifi problem on the road. Just don't buy anything connected through Sprint their internet service doesn't exist, its that bad. -

At one point I had both v and s. Because don't work everywhere and s is so much cheaper for unlimited.
I'm back with s. And it's my only Internet source. even at home. To which v wouldn't even make call out.
