Did you look it up yet @Wayner ?

    :biggrin_25524:

I cringe every week when I drive by the DC in Sanger. Wasted enough of my life dropping junk off and picking up empties from that hell hole. Can't tell you how many doors those idiots ripped off of trailers.

Personally I need to be home every night. But besides that I despise Walmart. Also money isn't everything. Plus why would you want to work for Walmart? If you want to make money do what my brother did and get an it degree. $70-125k.

I agree. I'll pay more not to have to be around the Walmart crowd. More crazies there than at a juagglo concert.

Tmc did that to me. They called me. And when I told them I'll only do local they gave me a huge attitude. Why did they call me with out at least reading my resume. So I wastes as much of his time as possible and aggravated them. I'm not going to a two week class and I'm not staying out over night.

I'll put it this way Walmart does not hire the top drivers anymore they hire a driver anymore.... I've seen Walmart drivers the last six to 12 months drive just as bad as a Swift Driver does so Walmart is not the cream-of-the-crop anymore

Exactly! I'm at the bottom end of that range with nothing more than a CDL. I'm in the truck three nights a week and barely work five days. Uniforms and coddling corporate man junk aren't really my things either. Those guys can keep em.

When I ran Walmart dedicated down in New Caney Texas I talk to plenty of Walmart drivers have been there a long time and one especially tell me that the current CEO does not like drivers making high wages or six figures as he called it... Wal-Mart's management is a #### joke basically what Walmart did was they lowered their prices when they expanded so they could try to run everybody else out of town then they got to the size that they wanted Now they're checking the prices up and they're giving the American public the big middle finger

They advertise on the radio and in print. They have done away with the "you have to be sponsored by a current driver" to be considered.

All the old timers are retiring and I'll give them this much....instead of screwing those guys they let most of them go with minimal anal prodding. The new generation isn't going to make much more than a typical truck driver.

I have a friend that drives for WM out of Palestine. WMT drivers most certainly do quit. Toting the company line is not in everyone's bag. Some of these guys on here need to enjoy their extra pay and keep their traps shut instead of bumping old topics back to life.

Only trucker I've heard and believe makes that kind of money is @OldMan.
Kllm pays $260 a day for local work. So that's $67k for five days a weeks and 81k for six days a week. There are other well paying gigs if you looks and are patient.
