I haven't gotten used to reefers either, luckily my company has mostly dry vans though there are times I have gotten stuck with a reefer for a whole week.

My next job won't involve reefers, that's for sure.

I pull reefer and I hardly notice the noise. I do notice your ####ty air dryer popping off every 20 seconds though... lol
I shut my curtains and it's like I'm home on the couch.....
    No worries and completely relaxed...

I honestly slept better in truck than at home. I especially like sleeping while idling though not all companies let you now days.

Idle truck up, turn on some late night talk radio, have a drink of water, lights out for me. I sleep better in the truck than at home.

Just because someone comes knocking on the door doesn't mean you have to answer it. If you are parked legally, this includes law enforcement. My 10 hour break is my personal time while on the road. No need to sacrifice your comfort for anything.

Earplugs - exhausted - lights out. Never had doors knocked on either.

Never felt I needed a gun, never had anything stolen.
