Oh God, I watched "Gone Girl" last night. He should have killed her when she returned.
Same as an ex-g/f.
Don't take back problems, happily give them away to some schmucko. -
Small company closer to home. Will give me a dedicated route that gets me a 34 reset at home each week. Miles should be about the same, or better.
I love Prime though. Great company to start out with IMOunholy7 and blairandgretchen Thank this. -
im sure if you put in your 2 week at prime they wouldnt be the ones to screw you over like these others have suggested. people leave OTR for months at a time just to cool off then come back. really i would leave professionally with a 2 week notice, reminders to your DM during those 2 weeks, and leave a clean truck just in case you do want or need to come back in the future.
plus if you put in your two week notice prime might actually fight to keep you. who knows what you might get offered. -
Id do my home time clean your truck out there and then put in 2 week notice...if they dont want you to work you will be vectored to a terminal...my current employer lets you work the last 2 weeks with no games etc. Best of luck to you.
Be Safe Out There
Captain DaveNavigatorWife Thanks this. -
Just make sure you clean that truck dont leave it nasty for the next person. Quit once your home and make sure they dont have a dispatch on you. To be honest they won't care if you quit anyway like the folks on here said sadly you wont be missed the show will go onpete1 Thanks this.

Step 1: Drive to company operating center
Step 2: Drive your truck into operating center building destroying as much as possible along the way.
Step 3: Once when your gets stuck after plowing down most of the building.. get out, find your dispatcher.. throw keys of truck into dispatcher's face.
Step 4: As you walk out be sure to
your fleet manager.
Step 5: Don't forget to write about it on thetruckersreport
Congratulations! You just quit!
pete1, Chucktshoes, McCauley and 1 other person Thank this. -
I think u misunderstood my question. I said 'gracefully'
-
Well you can gracefully
your fleet manager....

Delivery schedules tend to run tight when your trying to get somewhere specific. I wouldn't sweat it, just let your FM know what you want to do, probably with a date you want to be turning in the truck, and they will work it out. You will probably run hard to make it but they will get you there.
